Cashing out points and pooling miles with family are separate topics. This guide covers one thing only: how to check what is about to expire.

Who this suits
- People with card, airline, fuel and convenience store points spread around
- People with miles they earned long ago

1. Card points
- After identity verification, the Credit Finance Association’s integrated card point lookup shows points from each card company in one place. Check the results after verification.
- Some partner points may not show up, so check those with each card company.
2. Asiana miles

- Miles are valid until 31 December of the 10th year from the flight or earning date (12 years for Diamond and above).
- Miles earned up to 30 September 2008 never expire.
- Miles that can expire are used first, starting with those that have the least time left.
- If you cancel an award ticket, the refunded miles keep their original validity. Miles that have already expired are not refunded.
- After the merger with Korean Air, existing Asiana miles run separately for 10 years and keep their original validity. The announced conversion rates are 1:1 for flight miles and 1:0.82 for partner miles.
3. OK Cashbag (fuel and other partners)
- Points expire automatically after 60 months with no use since your last earning, top-up, use or cash refund.
- Visiting the website or getting a balance notice does not extend this.
- A notice is sent 1 month before expiry (3 or more notices for topped-up points).
4. GS&POINT / GS ALL points (fuel, convenience store, etc.)
- Since GS ALL points launched, GS&POINT can only be spent. From 26 February 2025, new earnings go to GS ALL points or GS SHOP credit.
- GS&POINT is now a partner point, so you need a one-time third-party terms consent to check it.
- GS ALL point validity: 5 years for purchase earnings, 2 years for extra purchase points, and event points as announced for each event.
- Contact: GS&POINT center 1544-5151
Common mistakes
- Thinking that logging in to a site extends the expiry
- Treating old Asiana miles and post-merger miles as having the same validity
- Assuming event points also last 5 years
