How do I sign up for Coupang Partners?
- Join on the Coupang Partners site and enter your member information (after login).
- Enter payment information when asked. Business sellers upload a business registration copy and bank-book copy before the first payout; individuals receive an email or notice before their first payout.
- Register every channel where you will post links (blog, YouTube, Instagram and so on).
- Create links or banners and publish posts with the disclosure sentence.
- After ₩150,000 in sales, Coupang reviews your channel for final approval.
How much is the Coupang Partners commission rate?
The official guide states 3% of the transaction amount generated through your URL. Earnings and clicks appear in the report around 4 p.m. the next day.
Example (illustrative numbers): ₩30,000 order → ₩900; ₩100,000 order → ₩3,000; ₩1,000,000 of referred sales in a month → ₩30,000.
When does Coupang Partners pay?
Earnings for a month are confirmed on the 25th of the next month (after cancellations and returns) and paid on the 15th of the month after that. The guide’s example: earnings from May appear in the June report and are paid on 15 July if the conditions are met. If the 15th falls on a weekend or holiday, payment moves to the next business day.
What is the disclosure rule?
Every post with partner links must show the economic relationship. Coupang’s sentence:
“이 포스팅은 쿠팡 파트너스 활동의 일환으로, 이에 따른 일정액의 수수료를 제공받습니다.”
- Place it close to the product content, at the beginning or end of the post, set apart from the body.
- Use the same language as the post (Korean posts get the Korean sentence).
- Violations listed in the guide: no disclosure, text too small or a colour close to the background, labelling paid content as “상품 협찬”, or using English or abbreviations.

🧭 Is this for you?
Coupang Partners pays you a commission when someone buys on Coupang after clicking your link. The rule set is simple (see the table below), so the real work is choosing products people are already searching for and writing honest, useful content around them. Posts that answer a specific buying question, such as which humidifier is easiest to clean or what to pack for a newborn, tend to earn far more than link dumps.
- Best for: Korean-speaking bloggers, reviewers and short-form creators who already use or research products
- Startup cost: Free to join; a blog or social account and some time to write or film
- Time to first income: Weeks to a few months: the ₩150,000 sales threshold for final approval comes first
- Difficulty: Easy to start, hard to do well: search traffic and trust take time to build
👍 Why it works
- No stock, shipping or customer service: Coupang handles the sale
- Any purchase in the 24-hour window counts, not only the item you linked
- Works with blogs, YouTube, Instagram and shopping-guide pages
👎 Watch out for
- Commission is small per order, so you need steady traffic
- Missing the disclosure sentence can get posts or accounts sanctioned
- Spammy link posts are often down-ranked by Naver and Google

- Pick a topic you know. Products you own and use cases you understand.
- Target buying searches. Collect specific searches such as “[product] 비교”, “[A] vs [B]” or “[product] 단점”. One post per clear question.
- Write a decision post. Disclosure → who it suits → 3–5 selection criteria → comparison table → pros and cons → who should not buy → FAQ.
- Place links and the disclosure. Links beside each option; the disclosure clearly visible.
- Refresh monthly. Update prices, discontinued models and dates.
- Measure. Track post, clicks, orders and revenue in a sheet and focus on topics that convert.
How do I estimate earnings?
Monthly referred sales = Clicks × Purchase rate × Average order Commission = Monthly referred sales × 3% × (1 − cancel/return rate) Example (illustrative numbers): 1,000 clicks × 4% × ₩40,000 = ₩1,600,000 → × 3% × 0.95 = ₩45,600

📘 Full playbook (updated October 2026)
🪜 Step-by-step system
- Pick one niche where people buy repeatedly. Baby and kids goods, pet supplies, kitchen tools, home cleaning, camping and study gear all have frequent purchases and lots of comparison searches. A single niche makes your blog look trustworthy and lets posts link to each other.
- Find buying-intent keywords. Use Naver DataLab and Coupang’s own search suggestions to find phrases like ‘best ~ for small rooms’, ‘~ comparison’ or ‘~ recommendation’. Aim for specific questions rather than broad words like ‘humidifier’.
- Write a genuinely helpful post. Explain who the product is for, compare 2–4 options in a small table, list honest downsides and add your own photos or test notes when you have them. Put the Coupang Partners link next to each option, not 20 times in a row.
- Add the disclosure every time. Coupang requires the sentence stating that the post is part of Coupang Partners activity and you receive a commission. Place it near the top or right above the first link, in readable text.
- Get indexed and spread it. Register the blog in Naver Search Advisor and Google Search Console, submit the sitemap, and share a short version as a YouTube Short or Instagram post that points to the full comparison.
- Review numbers monthly. In the Partners dashboard, check which posts make clicks and which make sales. Update the top posts with new models and prices, and write follow-up posts for related products buyers ask about.
📖 Real-world example
Min-ji runs a small blog about raising a toddler. She writes 12 detailed posts in two months, such as comparing four stroller fans and listing what she actually packs for daycare. About 3,000 visitors a month reach these posts from Naver and Google, 6% click to Coupang and roughly 1 in 10 of those buys something. With an average basket of ₩40,000 and 3% commission, that is about ₩216,000 (around $155) a month, and it grows as older posts keep ranking.
Illustrative scenario built from typical public rates; your results will vary.

- Steady niche blog with 3,000–10,000 monthly visitors: about $50–$400 a month
- Large review sites or channels: $1,000+ a month is possible but rare and takes a long time
